Ecoflex can be processed by conventional LDPE equipment for inflation molding or T-die molding. Printing and heat sealing can also be done using LDPE processors. |

Molding Equipment Ecoflex can be molded using standard LDPE and HDPE extrusion equipment. The die gap of the spiral die should be about 0.8 - 2.5 mm (ideally about 1 -1.5 mm). The flow rate should be 1:2 or more and 1:3.5 for wrap film. Use equipment suitable for a film with soft edge trimming and that is highly elastic. |
Molding
Purge sufficiently with MFR4-5 for LDPE prior to molding. |

PrintingUse an alcohol-based ink. The film should be subjected to Corona processing prior to printing. Set the drying temperature below that for LDPE. |

Heat SealingSealing can be done using a LDPE heat sealing line. Set sealing-temperature slightly lower than that for LDPE. The sealing conditions greatly affect seal pressure and seal strength. Because Ecoflex is a polar polymer, ultrasonic wave welding and high frequency wave welding can be done. |
