Azo-based Soluble Azos
1. Properties
| They have a wide range of colors from yellow, orange and red to blue. Water resistance, acid resistance and alkali resistance are good, but generally speaking solvent resistance is poor. Azos which improve on this shortcoming are being developed.*1 |
2. Uses
Inks, paints, plastics and stationery

Azo-based Insoluble azos
1. Properties
| Solvent resistance, heat resistance, light stability etc. are significantly increased when compared with insoluble azo pigments, and these properties are important in plastics in particular. |
 |
2. Uses
Inks, paints, plastics and stationery |
Condensed Azos
1. Properties
Solvent resistance, heat resistance, light stability etc. are significantly increased when compared with insoluble azo pigments, and these properties are important in plastics in particular.*1
|
 |
2. Uses
| Inks, paints, plastics and stationery |
Condensed Polycyclic Phthalocyanines
Properties
| The colors are from blue to green and are very sharp. They have excellent tinting strength, heat resistance, solvent resistance and chemical resistance and thus have a wide range of uses.*1 |

Uses
Uses
Surens
1. Properties
They have a wide range of colors from yellow to blue and excellent weather resistance, heat resistance and solvent resistance in .However in a strongly reducing environment color change sometimes occurs so this must be noted. *1

2. Uses
| Paints, inks and plastics |
1. Properties
| The colors are from orange to purple. These have a wide range of uses because they have the highest color fastness of all the organic pigments.*1 |
 |
2. Uses
| Paints, plastics and inks |
Dioxanes
1. Properties
The color is bright purple and it has excellent staining properties. Weather resistance and heat stability are relatively good but solvent resistance is somewhat weak.*1
|
|
2. Uses
| Inks, plastics and printing
Isoindolines |
1. Properties
The colors range from yellow to red and from yellow to orange in particular weather stability, heat stability and solvent resistance are excellent and thus they have a wide range of uses. In addition there are in high demand as substitutes for zinc and cadmium pigments. *1

2. Uses
| Paints, plastics and dyes |
Dye mordants
1. Properties
Extender pigments are substances that have been colored (dyed) with acid dyes or alkaline dyes. A dye mordant (or staining mordant) is derived from using an auxiliary agent with a precipitating agent to form a mordant.
Compared to the inorganic pigments and azo-base mordants, light stability and heat stability are poor, but most of them have some combination of unique colors, excellent brightness, and excellent staining properties.
They have a wide color range which includes red, orange, yellow, green and blue, and this color range becomes even wider when they are mixed. *1
